We immediately gathered a group of 20 people and started working. Frankly, I didn’t think it would be so difficult. After all, it’s one thing to speak for one or two hours, and another thing to prepare and conduct a 6-week course of 25 lessons of 3 hours each. Without preparation, methodologists, organizers, etc.
In any case, we were very pleased with the result. The winner of the course, Lena Pul, opened an online school and earned real money right during the course. Cool! I don’t know when we’ll return to education again, but this is definitely a great experience.
What about Work-Life balance?
I love sports – it’s my stress pill. I try to run 3-4 times a week for 40 minutes. This helps me stay in shape, and this time can also be spent with job seekers database additional benefit in the form of listening to a podcast while running, or an audio book.
Recently conquered Elbrus (5642 m). For me it was a real exit from the comfort zone and overcoming myself. I fell in love with the mountains and now I want to conquer a new peak once a year.
What are the company’s plans for the next few years?
We have two key vectors – the development of niche products (eCommerce and FinTech), as well as moving to the West. We are experimenting with different partnership models and trying to go further than just providing services. Today, we need partners who see value in the company’s products and are ready to promote them in their markets.
We also plan to further develop IT in Kharkov. In particular, to take an active part in the work of the Kharkov IT cluster and support its initiatives.
For example, not long ago we launched the 15 best wholesale suppliers for small businesses (2025) Chatbot for applicants. Thus, any schoolchild can learn more about the university, specialties, admission requirements, etc. in a familiar environment, a messenger. This is our social mission and contribution to the development of the IT city of Kharkov.
Tell us about the Double Portion business school. Why is this project needed?
This is a project of two fanatic entrepreneurs – me and my friend Vadim Bortnik, CEO of Freshline. We actively spoke at various business events and at some point realized that the demand for business education was extremely high. It was 2015, summer, and we found the challenge interesting – to make a summer school for entrepreneurs. Anyone could take part and try to launch their own project in 6 weeks.
Back in my school years, I became interested in b2b phone list programming (at that time it was still web design), I put together my first websites and entered the university with a strong desire to learn how to program. I believed that this was the future, and plus, it was interesting.
